Class Member Selection Criteria |

Applicants should live or work in the Johns Creek area, be employed by companies which have a significant impact in Johns Creek or work for a company with plans to locate or do business in Johns Creek.

Applicants should come from a cross section of the community, including business, labor, government, education, the arts, community-based organizations, and human services.

Applicants should reflect the racial, ethnic and cultural diversity of Johns Creek.

Applicants will be assessed based upon their record of leadership and community involvement, as well as their interest in the program, willingness to commit to the program requirements and goals, and demonstrated problem-solving and creative thinking skills.

Applicants from a corporation or organization must have the full support of their employer or sponsoring organization. (Individuals not associated with a business or organization may also apply.)

Applicants must be able to fulfill program attendance requirements, including mandatory attendance at the overnight opening retreat (in September) and full week-day sessions once a month from October through May. In addition, they must work with classmates to complete a community service project. (No exceptions.)

Tuition fees of $1750 ($250 discount if application received on/before May 31; $100 discount for Johns Creek Chamber members) are due upon acceptance into the program.
