Congratulations to the LJC Class of 2022

The 2022 class of Leadership Johns Creek (LJC) held their graduation ceremony, the first in two years not as a virtual event on June 1, 2022. The graduates all received certificate of successful completion from the 9-month program. The class was the first in two years due to the pandemic and although it was the smallest class ever to graduate from Leadership Johns Creek, they were able to accomplish much during their time in the program.

The Leadership Johns Creek class of 2022 included the following members: Brian O’Connor, Vanessa Payne, Lindsey Acciarito Monroe, Deb Erwin Powell, Richard Wright, Cassandra Littlejohn, Tiffany Davis Poke, Loretta Hale, Devon Dabney, Nashica Thompson McRath, Ge Grace Zhang and Carol Hriczov. Two community projects came to Johns Creek as a result of the hard work of this class.  The first project was Little Free Libraries. The group plan to complete and install 7 little free libraries in various Johns Creek locations including Findley Oaks Elementary and Emory Johns Creek Hospital’s Peace Garden, the project should be completed in the next few months.  In addition, a Sensory Playground is planned at Morton Park. This playground is intended for children in the area with autism and sensory integration disorder. Due to supply chain issues, the equipment will not be delivered until the fall and at that time it will be installed for many to enjoy.
